Because our heroes need heroes, too.
September is Service Dog Awareness Month, a time for honoring service dogs that help veterans with PTSD transition back to civilian life. K9 Advantix® Ⅱ recognizes the positive impact these dogs make on veterans’ lives.
When heroes return, a new struggle begins at home
Our returning veterans survived the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, but sometimes the bigger challenge is what comes next. Upwards of 20% of post-9/11 war veterans suffer from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)2.
That's why K9 Advantix® Ⅱ from Bayer has partnered with K9s For Warriors, a non-profit organization that pairs specially trained service dogs rescued from shelters with veterans suffering from PTSD to help them transition back to civilian life.WATCH VIDEO

Proud to support a worthy cause.
Since 2014, Bayer has contributed more than half a million dollars to the K9s For Warriors initiative. The money helps pay for the intense training shelter dogs undergo before being paired with a warrior. It also helps cover the training the veterans receive after they meet their service dogs.
Bayer has sponsored the training and adoption of 20 shelter-to-service dogs.SEE THE POSITIVE EFFECTS
